Wasita was born out of an instinct to solve a problem: Jordan’s healthcare sector urgently needed support services. By acting quickly and resourcefully, we discovered our natural aptitude for facilities management.
Our Story
Founded in 1983, Wasita set out with a clear goal: to provide support services to Jordan’s healthcare sector. We were uniquely equipped for this challenge, driven by our unwavering demand for the highest standards of quality and care, principles that remain core to who we are today. Over the next 40 years, we’ve grown into a regional leader in integrated facilities management.
Wasita is a story of firsts. Among many other firsts, we were the first to:
• Service Jordan’s healthcare industry with the highest level of quality.
• Operate the longest contract in the history of the Jordanian Armed Forces for 21 consecutive years.
• Establish a state-of-the-art medical central laundry in Al-Ain, UAE.
• Serve the first nationwide cinema chain in the history of Saudi Arabia.
• Introduce disinfection gates and UVD robots to Jordan during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our journey has been marked by trust and expansion. From catering and housekeeping to laundry and recreation management, we’ve consistently delivered exceptional services, even in the most sensitive sectors and the most crucial times. When Qatar won the bid for the World Cup, we were entrusted with building and operating a residential village for 32,000 people, complete with supermarkets and end-to-end supply chain management, in addition to owning and operating our own four residential villages in other countries.
We continue to lead the way by using eco-friendly materials, setting a new benchmark for sustainability.
